Communicating for success

Issue 15
February 2009

In this issue

So what’s in this issue?
Many of our clients are telling us about how the current climate is bringing new challenges to their business. One of these challenges is the need to maintain their service levels when they have had to adapt their ways of working. This issue looks at one way that we can help.

Welcome

Much as I love the snow and the cold, I am delighted to see the snowdrops out and the sun trying to stay up after 5.00pm.  As I am sure you will agree, 2009 has been pretty crazy so far, what with both the economic climate and the err, climate. We know you are busy so this newsletter is short and to the point, mainly because I want you to get to the end - it could be of real interest to you.

Communication, communication, communication

Is your business facing new challenges as a result of the downturn in the economic climate? Are you streamlining your workforce whilst striving to maintain service levels?

Perhaps, like many, you are also coping with high numbers of non-UK workers who don't have English as a first language.

Poor communication and understanding leads to poor customer/client experience, loss of sales and business, it poses a real threat.

So the challenge is on. How do you deliver consistent levels of service when the majority of your team may not have English as their first language? Well, you can start by speaking to us.

We offer a range of programmes aimed at frontline team members and managers at all levels.

Click here for Level 2 - Business English in use

The programmes are delivered by our business partners Interactive English (an accredited English School by the British Council) and as with everything we do we  tailor the programmes to achieve your objectives and fit in with your schedule.

We have worked with many top name companies; one in particular, has been able to promote an impressive 75% of all delegates in the past 12 months with the help of improved language skills. Another client has reported improved retention, increased sales and improved customer/client experience.

So just imagine it is 3 months from now. You are starting to see the benefits of increased sales, continued partnership and loyalty from customers/clients and a more stable workforce. It could happen as soon as that.

All you need to do is call us on 01273 671488, or email us at
