Welcome!
September 19th 2011
The Power of LinkedIn- last chance to book your place!
To get to know how best it can work for your business TLL have an introductory offer of £95 (normally £295) for our LinkedIn course on September 29th- We have only 2 places left- To learn more about the workshop click here.
You may not have considered how using LinkedIn can be used to improve your business- here are three good reasons:
-
People do business with people, not companies. LinkedIn can connect you directly to to the right people within an organisation. One of the notions behind becoming a social business is that your employees should be front and center in your digital activities. Companies that are optimising this concept have all their key personnel set up on LinkedIn with an effective looking profile. This becomes part of the brand image and makes both the company and the employee seem more approachable and presents the 'human face' of that organisation which is particularly useful for large corporate business.
-
Using 'Groups' on LinkedIn. To find like minded individuals and groups type in the specific area of interest you have. Join the group and be regularly posted on updates and articles of interest to you. You might be drawn to a group called Belbin Team Roles UK which has over 500 members and posts lots of interesting articles. Or, if you are working with a group of individuals on a project, why not form your own group? These can be either open forum or closed but either way, all the group members can communicate in one place, rather than creating yet (another) email chain.
-
Reconnect with old friends and acquaintances. See how many former colleagues you have lost track of, that are now working in potentially useful companies or situations. Spend some time doing a 'lost connections' search for people who have moved on and that you no longer have an email or telephone number for. You will be presently surprised how re-establishing these links can give new leads and energy to your business.
Best Regards and hope to see you on the 29th!
Jo
