Belbin Te am-Roles theory has been researched and developed since the 1960's by Dr Meredith Belbin and his team. By initially studying high performing teams, Dr Belbin identified clusters of behaviours typically displayed by individuals in teams which he termed 'team-roles'. There are nine team-role types, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.
