The Learning Labyrinth Ltd has recently achieved National Britannia SAFEcontractor accreditation.

SAFEcontractor is a health and safety accreditation scheme for contractors. It demonstrates to clients that we take health and safety seriously - and that we have the appropriate health and safety policies and procedures for our business.

SAFEcontractor is rapidly expanding with over 6,000 existing members,  and this is expected to reach 20,000 by 2010.

Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way. There is a need to assess contractors’ health & safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried out through the SAFEcontractor scheme as certification demonstrates competence in this area.

In short, many large organisations now use SAFEcontractor as their primary means of selecting contractors.
